The Missouri River High Adventure Base does NOT provide phone service to units while on the river. Our trek guides, however, check in with the base camp at pre-arranged times and have the means to contact emergency help.

Visiting your Scout
We encourage and welcome visitors at the appropriate times. Parents who would like to camp overnight before or after transporting participants may pitch a tent or park a small camper in the family camping area of the Lewis and Clark Scout Reservation. A reasonable camping fee will apply. For safety reasons, set-up of tents and campers must be completed before sundown. Vehicles must be parked in the designated parking area. Advance reservations for camping and meals are required. All visitors must check-in at the Missouri River High Adventure Base Main Lodge. Visitor meal rates are $4 for breakfast, $4.50 for lunch, and $5 for evening meal.
Refund Request
Since program supplies and food supplies are purchased based upon the number of Scouts pre registered, we refund only as a result of an emergency situation. We will not provide refunds for participants who choose not to attend camp of their own free will. Fees are transferable to another participant. Pre registration fees of participants who fail to attend for other than emergency reasons will be forfeited and are not applicable to the unit's other expenses. Cancellations must be made prior to June 1st.
All refund requests must be presented in writing.
